heartsrelease.neocities.org is here as a public record of my desperate determination to leave behind fear and sadness in a world of suffering. This site is my planted flag that, in defiance of being left behind my whole life, I still heartily hold these few final flickers that my pain can be somebody's hope someday. I wish to maintain kindness and morality, but I will not pour from an empty cup. (Still working to unlearn not to boil an empty kettle, though.) So on the rare occasion I gent NO-- I do so without irony and without apology.
So in the hopes that I avoid harsh speech, but without holding back in sheer weight of over-explaining:
- I don't sugarcoat my reality.
- I'm under no obligation to justify myself to anyone, especially those who refuse to meet me halfway.
- I'll let my results do the talking; what small slices of my life I do share are done of my own accord.
- I welcome counsel and admonishment by the blameless and observant. (See links following "For thoughts on how to judge whether another person is wise...") More importantly, I remain mindful and calm to the rest, recognizing both as my teacher.
- I reject "deserval", as my kamma is my own so only I should accommodate me, in my own ways.
- Big difference between being considerate, and setting myself on fire to keep others warm. I've lost enough years being told the latter is the only way I'll get anywhere in life, let alone being liked and included. As ye olde advice goes: unsolicited advice is criticism always.
I and others born in a dark class (relative to real[1] human existence or manussa loka, at least...) put up with enough charnel ground behavior to last us our next ten lifetimes. Wordy warfare does not belong to me. Bringing that here would be the same as throwing a rock down a bottomless well, awkwardly shuffling your feet waiting for a splash that never comes. Fall like melting snow somewhere else.
